The project that I am sharing today with all of you is very interesting and unique. The article is basically about the creation of hidden compartment on the bottom for valuables. This can be perfect for keeping extra pillows and blankets in a bedroom. You can also use this trunk for keeping toys in the playroom.
The dimensions of the trunk are 44 wide x 27 deep x 23 tall. The inside of the trunk measures 41 “ wide x 20” deep x 5 tall. The weight of the trunk is more than 100 pounds. The hidden compartment pallet wood chest has been sealed with the polyurethane. The pallets that are being used to complete the project have been sanded properly so that all the rough surfaces have been removed. You also need to make sure that the pallets that you are using in your DIY pallet project are pest free. The materials that are being used in this reclaimed pallet project are reclaimed pallets, metal hinges and recycled wood. This is completely handmade. I didn’t paint the wood chest because I want to keep it natural and traditional but if you want to have colorful chest you can choose any paint color for this.
